What Causes Sharp Chest Pain Along With Breathing Difficulty?

Hi, my mother just had what she described as a sharp and very tight, as if it was a strong pressure and squeezing, in her chest along with some difficulty breathing. She said it was on her center/ slightly left side of her chest. What could this most possibly mean?

Thanks for asking . I understand your concern.
The type of pain she describes could be Severe bronchospasm / heart problem.
Take her to a cardiac physician earliest... get her examined & investigated to find the cause followed by cause specific treatment.
She should take rest ,over the counter medicine derriphyllin would ease breathing difficulty. to some extent.
