dear friend
your symptoms can be due to either pleuritis that is inflammation of lining of the lungs or may be just an intercostal myalgia.
the latter is more likely as pleuritis would cause more symptoms and the pain would be even on normal breathing

try taking some deep breaths and holding them so as to release the cramps in the intercostal muscles
it should help
other wise give some dry hot compress to the area and take paracetamol
I find this answer helpful
