Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I got hit in the ear a week ago and since then it s felt like water is in my ear. No blood or liquids cameout. I put peroxide in it and it felt like it was running down my throat. I immediately got the peroxide out of my ear and now I feel sharp pain in my ear
It looks like you have a perforation in ear drum that is causing the symptoms.. So my suggestion is to consult an Emergency room and get evaluated.. An ear examination using an Otoscope can help in ruling out the exact cause of the problem.. In case of a small perforation you can be advised antibiotics and painkillers both oral and eardrops and decongestant nasal spray.. Small perforation generally heals.. Also you should avoid excessive beater exposure to ear like diving, swimming etc.. Avoid exposure to very loud sound or repeated injuries to ear..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
