What Causes Sharp Knee Pain Post Colonoscopy?

I recently had a colonoscopy and endoscopy done and the day after the procedure I started feeling a sharp pain in the back of my knee in the bend of my leg. Per the nurse it is highly unlikely that they could have hit a nerve during the procedures but I had no prior pain or leg issues. This pain feels like a pinched nerve and it is causing both of my legs, ankles and feet to swell. I had an ultra sound done yesterday to see if I have any blood clots but I am waiting on the results. I am having difficulty walking at times and have to use crutches. What could this be?

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
This is definitely not related to colonoscopy and causes may include tendinitis or lesion of meniscus. Ultrasound will not reveal these lesions and it would be better to do mri scan for better evaluation.

I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
