Your symptoms are indicative of Sciatica, it usually affects one side of the body. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP/ Neurologist to detect lumbar spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, Spondylolisthesis or muscle spasms. Get the required blood & imaging tests done.
Maintain healthy weight, check & change the mattress on which you sleep & exercise regularly. Take pain relievers like NSAIDS & muscle relaxants. Physical therapy is effective & recommended. Your treatment (by medicine s or surgery) will depend on your clinical condition & the reports obtained.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
