Whatever you are taking is the best, because people who copy defective gene from their parents need to be on statins and also need ot make life style changes,
Some of Life style changes you can make is to first the change the food you eat, by avoiding fatty foods like Beef, Pork and Mutton or Lamb, Chicken, high fat dairy products, sweets, processed foods
Have salads, multigrain breads, leafy greens, fruits.
A brisk walk for 30 - 45 mins
You can even take Homoeopathic medicine Cholesterinum3X which is a safe way to treat High cholesterol levels
Wishing you good health!
