What Causes Sharp Pain After Draining A Hole In The Back?
I had a hole in my skin on my back that was filled with dark cheesy looking stuff. My girlfriend squeezed it out and after a few weeks I started feeling a sharp pain in that area and there is no sign of the hole being filled with anything. What could this be?
What you are describing seems to be a sebaceous cyst. These are fairly common and harmless but they do not heal and tend to recur if not excised. Just squeezing it out will only cause it to appear after a while. Instead please visit a surgeon who will excise it under local anesthesia(You will not be put under just the area around the cyst will be numbed for the procedure). The sharp pain you are feeling may be due to the cyst compressing on your nerve underneath.
Hope this helps, Please feel free to address any further queries to me, I will be happy to help,
