What Causes Sharp Pain And Pressure In The Chest?

in the last month i have had sharp chest pains,sometimes its intermitant and it often feels like aheavy pressure on my chest.along with the chest pains ,headaches,stomache,and a sometimes back pain.i am 70 years old weight 270 lbs.6ft,2inch.i have 2 ekgs,chest x-ray and a cat scan that reveals nothing.my doctor says i have acid reflux and gave ranitidine for me to take but it does not help.any ideas?

as the tests already done have revealed nothing then you should need undergo thoracic spine xray ap view and lateral view as the pains may be due to thoracic spine and cervical spine xray as well ..as a matter of fact also get ascessed for bp ..
