What Causes Sharp Pain And Swollen Veins On The Wrist?

i am 53..5ft 2in..8 stone..i suffer from palpatations, which i have to take tablets for..but my question is about the veins in my wrists..i get a sharp pain ,then i get a swelling at my wrist..it then looks like a bruise..and i can see it is my veins..at on time i got a very sharp pain going through my arm.hop you can be of help..

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Venous?TOS-Thoracic OUtlet Syndrome.
Subclavian Vein obstruction due to either-from reduced costo-clavicular space from-Scalene Anticus Syndrome or from Extra Cervical Rib or extended Transverse process of Cervical rib / or could be from pectoralis minor muscle.
CT Thorasic Outlet/ and Shoulder area would clear this ambiguity after second Opinion from OrthoSurgeon / or Surgeon / or Vascular Surgeon.
Act on this line to resolve your swollen veins on wrist with sharp pain.
