What Causes Sharp Pain Around The Wrist In The Right Hand?

Hi. I ve had this pain on the top of hand right between the bottom of my hand and the top of my wrist with an indentation. Whenever I touch it I get a sharp pain. Also whenever I move my hand I get pain in that area. I believe this is carpal tunnel syndrome. Please help me

yes this may be due to carpel tunnel syndrome.
causes may be
trauma
autoimmune diseases
diabetes
thyroid dysfunction
fluid retention due to menopause or pregnancy etc etc
exclude these causes
