Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Pain between the shoulder blades may be due to muscle pain or strain or degenerated discs or nerve root compression or the spine or aortic dissection or fibromyalgia or referred pain from liver or gallbladder through phrenic nerve etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use pain killer medication, use cold and warm compression. If symptoms not please consult your physician he will examine do x-ray/MRI spine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
