What Causes Sharp Pain Below The Ribs?
I have a brief sharp pain below my ribs on the left side. It comes and goes every few minutes, no difference in my bm s. Eating doesn t seem to make any difference, been going on for 3 days, I am able to sleep through it. Always in exactly the same spot.

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
The sharp pain under left rib cage.. which is not a constant thing, there is no fever,or any respiratory symptoms .& digestion issues .. seems to be due to-
- Collected gases under diaphragm... specially after immediate sleeping after eating
- bone weakness due to calcium or vitamin D deficiency .
- I would advise to get a cardiac check up done .. for it can cause such symptom some times.
