General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, there can be the possibility of underlying gravels or calculus in the urinary system which can present as sharp pain while urination with frequent infections.

* Kindly discuss the need of ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis with your consultant for the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
