What Causes Sharp Pain In Armpit Radiating Down To The Wrist?

I have recently been having a sharp almost lightning pain originating at my right armpit, traveling down to my wrist. This has happened 3 times within the last week. I am very healthy, on no meds and have no diagnosis of any kind at this point. I am a 57 year old female.

Hello welcome to HCM. The given information tells that there is nerve compression leading the said symptoms. Please get Xray of the vertebra after taking advice from the orthopaedician . This will rule out if the nerves are compressed between the vertebraes. If there is no abnormality in spine, then there is somewhere nerve compression in its course, which can be detected by performing various tests . for which you should take guidance from neurologist. What treatement you are taking is just symptomatic. The cause should be treated.
