What Causes Sharp Pain In Arms And Left Clavicle After Losing Weight?
I am a 44 year old woman. I m 5 3 and 230lbs. I have lost 20 lbs in the past 6 months with added walking and adding healthier foods. I have been have a sharp pain that lasts only for a second or two at a time in both my left arm (about 2 inches up from my palm) and where my left clavical is close to my throat. The pain in both places has been at random, but it hurts in both places at once every time. It has happened 4-5 times per hour for the last 4 hours. Does anyone have any incite as to what this may be?
Pain in the left clavicle & arm commonly occurs due to trauma, injury or fracture. Medical conditions like osteoarthritis & developing CAD or inflammation around the heart (pericarditis). You are suggested to get clinically examined & assessed by a Cardiologist/GP. Get CBC, Stress test, EKG, Echo, Lipid function tests, RA Factor & tests for OA done. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected & your clinical condition. You can take anti-inflammatory medications for relieve.
