What Causes Sharp Pain In Hips While On Minivelle Estrogen Patch?

Hello, I am a 53 yo women currently using the minivelle estrogen patch. I left it on longer than the recommended 3 days and now have a sharp pain that started just below my waist right buttock, same area I had the patch. This pain has now moved up to my lower back/kidney area. I am hoping it is just a pulled muscle but it seemed coincidental. Can you tell me if the patch could cause pain if worn too long?

I really appreciate your concern, the pain is not due to the hormone therapy but it could be due to muscular spasm and nothing to take anything with the patches too, no need to worry about this hope this information helps.
