What Causes Sharp Pain In Navel While Standing Up?

Sometimes when I stand up I get a sharp pain in my belly button and in the tip of my penis. it feels like a string is connected to both of them and being stretched. The pain is so bad that I usually have to crawl into a ball for an quite awhile till it goes away. I started getting this when I was about 15 and I am now 21. Any ideas?

Hello,

You are suffering from sharp pain in the navel and tip of your belly button. You are experiencing severe pain. Your symptoms are quite concerning. Your symptoms may be indicative of Umbilical hernia. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP or a Surgeon. Get urinalysis (R/E and C/S), CBC, required blood tests and imaging tests done to detect the pathology causing you symptoms.

Your treatment will depend on the diagnosis made and on the severity of your symptoms. You will be given conservative treatment or may be recommended surgery if required. In the meantime, you can take PPIs, one stat when required for relieve. You can take Spasmol (spasmoproxyvon), one stat after food to get rid of the pain and discomfort. Stay away from addictions like smoking, alcohol, drugs, etc.
