General & Family Physician, Dr. Prakruthi's Response
Hi The pain you are experiencing is quiet normal post operatively. Give yourself 3 to 4 weeks for complete recovery. Is the pain related to eating? Take soft bland food that's easy to digest. Take in more vegetables and fruits and avoid fatty foods. Do not lie down immediately after a meal. Also try to walk around a bit ans stay active (but within limits) .You can wait upto 4 weeks before you see your doctor. However if the pain continues to increase or if you find it unbearable you should see your doctor. I hope this helps. I wish you a speedy recovery. Take care :)
