General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I would advise you to get an X-ray done as bending and lifting weight with a popping sound is a significant history and may be because of a fracture of spine.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
