What Causes Sharp Pain In The Buttock During Pregnancy?
I m 22 weeks pregnancy. Am suffering from severe right buttock pain, felt especially moving from sitting to standing position. The pain is very sharp, like pinching with a pin. I cant able to move when it pains. Please give me some suggestions to get me out of this.
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can. This is caused by streching of uterus and its ligaments and changes of pelvic shape. This should not worry you and may be bit painful but during the time it will disapear. Only of there is vaginal bleeding, you should see gynecologist, but pain in sacrum and buttock are not concerning sign. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health. DR. Ivan Rommstein
