What Causes Sharp Pain In The Cervix During 34th Week Of Pregnancy?
The past week I ve been having a lot of sharp pain in my cervix, it hurts worse when i lean forward & when Im standing up, but I also get the pains just laying or sitting down. I ve had diarrhea since yesterday, & Ive been really irritable. Im 34 weeks. Is my body prepping for birth, or is this just normal pregnancy symptoms
Hi, Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum. I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.
Brief Answer : Don't worry, It's Natural
Detailed Answer : As a physician I would like to tell you that What you are feeling is the effects of the weight of the baby on an intensified and extremely sensitive area. All of this normal, gravity pushes this now growing 6, 7 lb baby down, putting all the weight of the baby and pressure in your pelvic area and you begin to feel sharp pains and tingles at times in that area
I would also like to tell you that next time you visit your attending Gynecologist you hell them about these symptoms and get your doubts cleared. Also make sure that you keep an aye on warning symptoms like Bleeding from vagina, Intense unbearable pain ect.
Thanks for Trusting & Posting your Query on this forum. Hope this will help you. Feel free to ask any further question. Have a nice Day.
Regards, Dr.Abhijeet
