Hi, It is possible that the sharp pain in your groin area after kidney infection is one of the symptoms. Other symptoms include fever with chills, lower back pain, lower abdominal pain radiating to groin, burning or pain while passing urine, nausea and vomiting. If you are getting groin pain even after using antibiotics for infection, other possible causes like kidney stones, urinary bladder infection or urethra or ureter obstruction must be ruled out. As you also had kidney stones, this also could be one of the reasons for groin pain. For this, drink plenty of water, take adequate rest, and avoid calcium rich foods.
