What Causes Sharp Pain In The Right Ear?

I am having sharp pain in my right ear. when I swallow food or liquid I will feel the sharp pain. I will also feel it every so often when I am not eating or drinking. When the pain happens while I eat or drink, if I will press against my ear, it stops the pain.

When ear pain happens during swallowing it usually means that ear canal has been blocked this causes pressure changes in the ear and pain can be there. Cause of ear canal blockage is usually an infection.

I would suggest you not to panic and visit your doctor to get your ear examined this usually gets cured with a simple medication and life style change.
