Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My AST (SGOT) is 85 and my ALT (SGPT) is 106. I am experiencing sharp pains in my upper abdominal quadrant. My doctor currently has me on hydrocodone. I am scheduled for additional testing this week and am inquiring if my pain therapy warrants being elevated to a stronger pain medication such as oxycodone. The pain is unbearable and don t know the appropriate way of confronting my PCP regarding my pain. I have been experiencing loss of energy and appetite. Your assessment is greatly appreciated.
In my opinion you should go for an ultrasound to see for liver or pancreas pathology
You should be worried but not too much if you can upload me your complete medical history I will be able to help you better like your age do you consume liquor if yes then how much and since how long
