What Causes Sharp Pain In The Upper Back On The Left Side?
I have a sharp pain on my back, upper left side, like a stabbing pain. Went to the dr and told me that I had pulled a muscle, he figures because I had bronchitis about 4 weeks ago and I was coughing hard. Sent me to a PT place, but doesn t seem to be working. The pain is all day. I don t know what to do.

hello....most probably it is due to muscle spasm..take muscle relaxant for a week and rest....avoid strenuous exercise and heavy weight for couple of weeks..
