As per your query you have pain in the throat along with pain during swallowing . Well there can be two gactors responsible for symptoms you mention in query :- - First it can occur due to sore throat or upper respiratory track infection .
Iwould suggest you to do warm sline gargles , avoid eating spicy hard and heavy food , take antacid after every meal and keep your elevated while laying down . Consult ENT pecialist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics for at least a week along with anti inflammatory and analgesic . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist if problem will be related with acid reflux .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
