What Causes Sharp Pain On Left Side Of Abdomen Along With Nausea And Dizziness?
I am having unusual sharp and dull cramping on the left side of my stomach accompanied by light headedness and nausea. When I lie down it feels like the room is spinning around me and my forehead starts to feel tingly. I have a viral infection could this be associated with this?
Sharp and dull cramping pain on left side of stomach could be due to gastritis, gastrointestinal tract infection etc. Gastrointestinal tract infection can occur due infectious agent like bacteria or viral. Accompanying light headedness and nausea could be due to gastritis or gastrointestinal tract infection. I suggest you to consult our gastroenterologist for clinical assessment and hence management.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
