What Causes Sharp Pain On The Lower Back Side Of Head?

for a couple of days now I ve been experiencing a very sharp pain on the lower back side of my head. right above my neck and half way up my head is a very strong pounding sensation, at first it would only happen when i would lean forward. but now it is present without having to lean its just there with any movement. I ve tried massaging the area since i figured it could be a pressure headache but this offers no help. ive tried pain killers, and they wont help either. its really painful, im a 21 year old female, who has no insurance, and i dont have much money right now. is this something i should def get checked?

Hi there.

This could be pinched nerve due to bad posture and Cervical spondylosis. Apply hot water bag. Take pain killers. Avoid bending the neck forward.
