What Causes Sharp Pain Under The Rib Cage On The Right Side?
What can cause a severe sharp pain under the ribs on the right side that pulsates and takes your breath away. It comes on sudden when the body is stretched out relaxing. It happens once a week and lasts a few minutes. I have had a cat scan, colonoscopy and endoscopy and it showed nothing.

If your CT abdomen scan is normal, then a possibility of an organic cause is very less. It can be musculoskeletal pain by stretching of muscles. For that try to avoid unaccustomed activity, and take sleep in a proper position. If CT abdomen scan not done recently than investigate with ultrasound abdomen scan for primary work up.
