What Causes Sharp Pains In Lower Left Abdomen?

yes, my husband has been complaining of sharp pains in his lower left abdomen. He has regular bowel movements every day, usual urination, is this something we should be worried about or see if the problem continues? Could this possibly be a pulled muscle? From strain?

Hi, sharp pain in lower abdomen with normal bowel habit rules out possibility of colitis, but u haven't mentioned since how long your husband has this complaints. If I guess sharp pain means colicky pain in medical terms then chances of kidney/ureteric stone may be despite normal urination. This kind of pain usually sudden in nature and mostly associated with nausea or vomiting. U should consult gastric surgeon if its not cramps or strain.
