Hi. Noted the history of pain in the left lower area of head, wife thinks of stress, all your adult life has gone through stress but never had headache, just got married and on way to retirement. All your history is suggestive of one of the following reasons: Pointed pain in the same area over head for a long time is an indication that an MRI of the brain should be done to se for any tumor or so. Clinical evaluation by a Neurologist helps. Another cause can be related to the cervical spondilitis causing muscle spasm causing nerve pinching and thus cause headache. Stress and anxiety can be contributory factors. Go for proper clinical evaluation by a Neurologist, relevant investigations to have proper management. Hope I have answered your query.
