What Causes Sharp Pins And Needles In Breasts?

I have sharp pains and needle pricks in both my breast now. Was just in the left in January, right one more now. I had mammogram and it is normal. My older sister had breast cancer, my youngest sister had kidney cancer. Email. YYYY@YYYY .

I really understand you concern.

Based on your family story, first I would suggest an ultrasound examination of breasts to rule out your doubts for breast cancer, which also may be the cause for somatization of your fear.

Also these symptoms may be due to premenstrual syndrome if they happen always one to two days around you menstrual cycle.
