What Causes Sharp Shooting Pain From Lumbar Area To Legs?

Intermittent Severe sharp shooting pain originating in right lumbar area and radiating down leg h is usually set off by bending over or twisting. Pain last for different periods of time from a few seconds to several minuets. Once the pain stops, i feel and move perfectly normal until the precipitating factor occurs again.

If there is numbness or tingling then it demands an early consultation with a neurologist.MRI will give actual picture.
You should avoid precipitating factors.
You must see a neurologist before it is severe enough to cause you more trouble.
