My husband has had sharp shooting pains in his left ear, Two years he had a small cancer removed fronm his ear , The Doctor told us she was sure it would not come back. could this be ear wax or should he make an appointment with his Doctor . My husband will be 86 Years in May.
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your husband symptom of a sharp shotting pain in the ear following removal of a tumor I am suggesting a possibility of a relapse of the cancer
In view of this please the following test CT scan Ear swab for culture Blood culture
Meanwhile please let him see an ENT as specialist with the results for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription though you can take some analgesic pending your appointment . I hope this helps Regards
