What Causes Sharp Sudden Pain Around Diaphragm Area?
Hi, my 67 year old husband has had pain right about where his diaphragm would be. It is in both sides. The pain is sharp and sudden. He does a lot of exercises including weight lifting plus he eats lots of fiber. Could it just be gas pains or a pulled muscle? Thank you!!
Pain in the loin is mostly of muscle spasm. In case of bilateral renal calculi also this kind of pain is possible. You have to follow-up with USG of abdomen to rule out renal calculi and cholelithiasis.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
