What Causes Sharp Sudden Pain Followed By Tingling Sensation On My Tongue?

This is kind of a small thing, but I occasionally get this tingling feeling in my tongue. The instances are isolated, far apart, and short lived, so I'm sure it's nothing big. Might happen three or four times a year, and it doesn't last longer than a minute or two. It's usually a rather sharp, sudden pain that lasts only an instant, followed by slight tingling. I'm wondering if it may be a slight food allergy. I have no clue what to, though.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the chances of tongue lesion is likely if I would be your doctor then I would treat this condition with the following medicines,
1) Tab folic acid three times in day
2) Tab vitamin c 100 mg three times in day
if this fails to respond then clinical examination would be necessary hope this information helps you have good day.
