hi i had a cold before but i took medicine and it got better after the occasional coughing, so i stopped. All of a sudden my body started aching so I took panadol, after 2 or 3 hours i started shivering uncontrollably. In response i had a hot bath and fell asleep, when i got out i threw. now im covered up but still am shivering a bit and have body aches.
Chills (feeling as though cold with high temperature) can occur in some cases of infection.
Based on your symptoms, it is possible that you may have an acute viral infection such as the flu or common cold.
It would be best to have cool baths rather than hot baths. Even though you have chills, your temperature is actually high and a hot bath would increase it. Continue the paracetamol, rest and fluids.
If your symptoms do not improve or worsen , you should visit your doctor for assessment.
I hope this helps
