Noted your history of feeling ill, sore throat, looking after injured mother, took paracetamol and still shivering. Yes, the best way is to consult a doctor for the following reasons: - Clinical examination is done. - Immediate samples of blood, urine and throat swab may be taken as better results are obtained when you have problems. - You also get a prescription based medications including antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and as needed. - Povidone iodine gargles to be done. Continue the full course as prescribed. Review with a Doctor as needed.
