General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Shivering or tremors in the fingers is commonly caused by Neurological problems. But it can also be due to metabolic problems & alcohol. Avoid addictions if any.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a Neurologist. You will have to go through Nerve Conduction tests, Nerve biopsy & few Imaging tests if needed to rule out Parkinson's Disease, Essential Tremor or Peripheral Neuropathy.

You will be treated according to the severity of the pathology detected. You can take vitamin B6, B12, folic acid rich food or supplements.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
