Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Shivering Post Recovery From Kidney And Liver Infection?
Directly after a warm shower I was shaking and felt cold freezing but not to touch. I couldn t move for at least five minutes. I had to push off what felt like energy pinning me down. I have recently suffered a kidney and liver infection but tests say this has cleared up. I also had the cold shaking when I was ill with this. When I went toned and closed my eyes random images with a particular theme played in my head.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Taimoor's Response
Hi and welcome to HCM I'm Dr. Taimur and I will be addressing your health concerns. I have read your question and understand your concern. After a liver and kidney infection you are having low energy and on off fever, and the infection is cleared so it is most likely to be because of generalised weakness after a disease which is quite normal and will resolve in a week or two. All you need is to take some rest, have some work off days if possible and eat healthy, have a glass of milk daily. And if you still feel there is anything wrong you can have a full blood count done which will give a clue to any infection in the body. I hope this might be of some help, if you have any query feel free to ask me any time. Thanks. Dr. Taimur
