What Causes Shooting Pain In Chest With BP Around 119/80?
I am having shooting pains in my chest and my blood pressure is 119/80. Is that a normal bold pressure for a 35 year old who weighs 260 lbs and has just started exercising at 45 minutes a day on the treadmill going on 3 weeks now? Should I be concerned? The pains are very infrequent and last a few seconds only.

HI
Thanks for posting your query .
Your BP is absolutely normal . But your chest pain I think it could be due to Gastritis or Irritation in lung surface ( Pleurisy ) but still you better get an EKG first to make sure that everything is normal with your heart . Till then you can use an Antacid but don't delay getting an EKG.
