What Causes Shooting Pain In The Abdominal Area?

I am having severe pain from my ic. I have a stem in my back to help and I have had the surgery to Reinflate? my bladder. I think its called hyper distention. I ve had that 2 yrs in a row. It has helped. but my pain here the past couple of days has been so bad that it hurts to move at all. My flow isn t too bad. i m not cathing at the moment. but the pain seems to shoot up midway through my stomach. I have been vomiting for 2 days now. but I am one to do that when I get too hurting to bad. I m not sure if I should go to the hospital. I cant get into my urologist until about 6 weeks.. what should I do? I m exhausted and having trouble keeping things down..

Hi,

Your symptoms can be related to a bladder infection. There are some examinations that should be done to confirm the diagnosis. You should do a urinalysis and an ultrasound for further evaluation. I suggest you go to the hospital.
