Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So when putting on my shoe two days ago I got a sharp shooting pain in my left interior ankle area. Now my ankle and interior part of my leg up to my calf are tender to the touch. I have sprained and rolled my ankles many times due to loose joints and the same treatment I sn t working. This pain is different. What else could I have injured?
Hi Thanks for posting your query on HCM I have read and understood your concern The pain you describe could be due to stress/strian while putting on your shoe.Given the fact htat you have sprained your ankle a couple of times, it predisposes you to such ankle pains even with minimal effort. However, there are many other causes of ankle pain that should be eliminated if pain persists. Some of these causes may include: tendinitis, gout, osteoarthritis/arthritis, stress fracture... I will suggest you try the following: *Take a pain drug like aceclofenac *Apply a local pain gel like voltarene if pain persist, you see the Doctor for examination Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns Best regards
