What Causes Shooting Pain In The Calf When Diagnosed With Sciatia?
I have severe pain in right calf, somewhat like an agonising toothache in the leg. It ceases on resting, is not a blood clot as had scan. I have suffered sciatica pains in hip and use nicotine replacement losenges since giving up smoking and take thyroxine, ramapril, asprin, bisoproiol, atorvastin and fluoxetine, ... what do u think could be the cause
Hi, If there is some osteoartheritis changes in your lower lumbar spine you get sciatica pain. Go for x-ray of lumbo-sacral spines and find out the extent of obstruction or irritation produced on nerves. Removing obstruction or irritation will give you relief. Consult orthopedic surgeon or spine specialist and get examined. Ok and take care.
