What Causes Short-lived Dizziness, Hot Flash And Blurred Vision?
My dad has spells where he has a hot flash, pain behind his eyes, and slight dizziness for less than thirty seconds. No one seems to know what is causing this. His vision is blurred during this time. He said sometimes it is like a shade is pulled down over is eye and then it goes back up. YYYY@YYYY

Your dad seems to have an eye problem...something more than just eye sight problem &he needs an Opthalmologist's consultation earliest.
Proper examination &needful investigations followed by specific treatment would relieve him off the problem.
