What Causes Short Term Memory Loss And Agitation In An Elderly Person?
My 87 year old sister is in an assisted living facility/diagnosed two years ago with very mild short term memory loss. She gets agitated when questioned by me, or others at the facility and has had some panic attacks. She takes Buspirone and Escitalopram. Other meds that might be more helpful?

I really appreciate your concern, this is the psychological condition might need long term treatment and regime goes on changing from time to time of course some other drug can be added but for that follow up is very necessary and may needs counselling too, and it can only done by psychiatrist, hope this information helps.
