What Causes Short Term Memory Loss In A Diabetic Patient?

My dad is 63 years old with diabetes. For last 6 months he doesn t have any conscious, when he woke up from sleep. He doesn t remember anything for particular period. After half or one hour, his conscious Come back and do his work normally. Sometimes it happens at daytime too.

Hello,

Memory problem at young age is due to either underline depression or anxiety. May be you remain tense due to some reasons and forget things easily.

Other possibilities may be adult onset attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. If you have this problem since childhood, then you may have underline ADHD. 1.

Please give some example about your problem and any attention regarding problems during childhood, so i could able to make some diagnosis in your case.
