What Causes Shortness Of Breath After Doing Mild Chores?

For about 6 - 8 weeks I shortness of breath after doing mild chores. Or if I walk from the parking lot to the store. I find myself having to stop and catch my breath but after that I feel okay. Lately I have determined that bending over, to pick up laundry, etc. and then quickly moving on I get a head rush and labored breathing. I use an inversion table to help my back, neck and shoulders. However, I am very uncomfortable doing that now. I feel like my neck is bulging and my head is going to pop.

Hello,

Many causes are possible as: low hemoglobin, high blood pressure, cardiac conditions (ventricular hypertrophy/mitral valve prolapse/mitral/aortic stenosis, and others), pulmonary hypertension, atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries, respiratory issues (obstructive pathology/tumors/effusion), pericardial conditions, and others. Need extensive evaluation and work-up to reach at the root of the issue.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
