What Causes Shortness Of Breath After Taking Tramadol And Amoxicillin?
I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed yesterday. I was given Tramadol for pain and amoxicillin. Ever since last night ever time I lay down I have a sort of shortness of breath, like my diaphram is spasmimg. I just got back from the ER and they don t know why. I took the tramadol last at 530am. At the ER they gave me Norco. And at 230pm I took another dose of the antibiotic and I still have the same feeling when laying down. Doesn t matter if I m laying in my side, back or with my head propped up with pillows. Please help, I need sleep!
I think that is a reaction to amoxicillin antibiotic. Should stop taking it and report to the dentist who prescribed for the wisdom teeth removal. Take more water. Take antacid to stabilize stomach pH. If still no improvement, should go to ER.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
