What Causes Shortness Of Breath After Using Cleaning Products?
I had used a (foaming)bleach cleaning product due to a plumbing issue in my bathroom. I did have it ventilated properly while cleaning but shortly after beginning I had to leave cause I couldn t breathe. I opened more windows and left. it s been about 3-4 hours after and I still feel the same shortness of breath and my throat feels dry. What can I do to treat this issue at home?

Hello welcome to HCM. The bleaching product has the clorox fumes which caused throat irritation. Be away from that for few days till symptoms recover. Please do steam inhalation 3-4 times daily. You need to take anti allergy tablet. If there is any yellow secretion, then it indicates there is also infection. You should start with antibiotics. Please take appointment with the ENT specialist for the treatement.Take care
